Patchwork, applique and pieced quilts.

Quilts are such a joy to make as they are snuggly and make you feel good. I tend to use some very retro fabrics in my quilts. Most of the quilts I make are lap or twin sizes so you can wrap up in them while you watch your favorite TV show.

I make many types of quilts such a patwork, pieced and applique quilts. I do enjoy doing machine applique quilts.

All my quilts are machine quilted my myself. I have a long arm machine to do the quilting. I use a 80% cotton and 20% poly blend for my batting. Binding is mitered at the corners and machine stitched on.

I will custom make you any quilt in larger sizes. Fabric and design will be your choice.

This quilt is a simple and will fit into so many home decors. The fabrics are all 100% cotton and it is all machine quilted. The main colors are browns, tans and reds.

This would be a great quilt for a man or boy.

This colorful throw has a poppy border with the blocks made from coordinating colors. It is machine and sewn and quilted by myself. I enjoy making things that are colorful and bright. The poppies on the border are very realistic. Finished size is 57 X 75 inches.

This is such a calming quilt. The blue and browns lend themselves to a outdoors feeling. Then you can watch the water as it trickles over the quilt. Size is 60 X 72"

This quilt will make you very happy. The 3 center panels have 7 appliqued flower each. I have used very colorful fabrics for the flowers which compliments the colorful sashing and borders. I machine quilted this quilt with my machine using my own designs. The size is 56 X 69". The batting is a 70%cotton and 30% poly.

Brown and Pink Quilt 58 X 58"

Dusty Pink and Brown Quilt with Applique Center

The main colors for this quilt are browns and dusty pinks. The green was added as an accent. The center is a machine appplique. The corners are rounded and on each corner I added a machine embroidery applique. The quilt was machine quilted on my long arm.

Dancing Squares Quilt- .Retro Quilt which is multicolored

This quilt is made from jelly roll strips. The collection is from Blank Quilting and is called Morning Call. The fabrics are somewhat retro and the squares are appliqued onto the main quilt. The quilt is machine quilted and the binding is put on with mitered corners. The size is 72" X 72" which makes a nice size for a twin bed, throw or a large wall hanging. The back side of the quilt is a retro square print.

Description: What is more colorful than using batik fabrics? These pinwheels were made from jelly roll strips from Anthology Fabrics. The border batik is from Timeless Treasures. What a cozy quilt for anyone to share!

Technique: Machine Pieced. Machine Quilted with Variegated Thread.

Fabrics: 100% Cotton

Batting: Dream Cotton - 80% Cotton, 20% Polyester

Care: Machine wash. Tumble dry on low heat

Dahlia Quilt- Queen Size

Description: One of Cheryl's favorite flowers are dahlias. When she saw this fabric, she knew she had to make something special. She used a Drunkard Path pattern block with another border. These pinks and browns are so lovely together in this quilt. She also added appliqués of dahlias around the inside border. It is machine quilted using a modified feather pattern. The pictures are the quilt on a queen bed. Cheryl enjoyed making this quilt and hopes you like it, too.

Technique: Machine Pieced. Machine Quilted. Raw edge appliqué.

Sho Fly Block Quilt

Shy Fly Block Quilt - Brown Batiks 61 X 78"

This is a lap size quilt which would be suitable for a male or female. The colors are browns and blues of various batik fabrics. The accent square is a modified shoo fly block. The size is 61" X 78". A great quilt to curl up under on a cool winter night.
